Dr. Alex Tanielian is originally from Seattle, WA, but spent the last decade in San Francisco before settling in Chicago. He originally moved to attend the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS. Following dental school, he completed further training at an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at UCSF. During his training, he advanced his expertise in laser dentistry, adhesive dentistry, 3D printed crowns, bone grafting, and complex root canal treatments.
Dr. Tanielian prides himself on providing exceptional care, with a focus on optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. He fosters a low stress, comfortable, if not enjoyable, dental experience. His practice emphasizes prevention and prioritizes shared decision making so patients can make informed choices about their dental care. He has been an active member of national, state, and local dental societies since graduating with his doctorate, and is constantly striving to provide the most state-of-the-art and evidenced-based care.
Dr. Tanielian spends most of his free time with his wife and two kids. If he isn’t spending time outdoors, it’s because he is searching for new and interesting restaurants; especially ramen restaurants.
